Customer Process

At Unique Garden Sanctuaries we believe that in order to deliver you a truly bespoke garden room unique to you the key is a professional and personal service.  This means that from your first contact with us you will get to know our close knit team who will follow your project from start to finish.  

We use this approach as we appreciate your garden room, whatever your budget, is a significant investment and every detail needs to be right.  We will take the time to liaise closely with you and listen to your wishes and requirements to design the ‘sanctuary’ you will be happy with for many years to come.

Enquiry stage

The first step is to let us know you are interested!  You can find our details here.

Depending on the contact method we will either speak to you then or contact you within 24 hours to find out more about what you are looking for and answer any initial questions you may have.

If you are then happy to proceed, we will then arrange a mutually convenient date and time to come and visit you for an initial site survey and start the design process. 

First visit

The first visit will incorporate an initial site survey to ascertain suitability of the intended site of the garden room.  This is essential as although in many cases planning permission is not required, there are limits and conditions.  If this is the case, we always recommend that any permissions or consent should be acquired prior to the contract stage.  Whilst it is ultimately your responsibility to obtain any permissions or consent, we will happily make any application on your behalf if you so wish.  We will also look at what type of foundation/base you will require and your power supply.

The design process will also start during the first visit.   You may have something specific in mind and just want to finalise the finishing touches or perhaps you would like to find out more what is available and develop your garden room from scratch.  We will take the time to listen to what you want and provide you with the options available.

In addition, the person who attends your first visit will be your project manager and will remain as your first point of contact throughout your journey with us.

Finalising your design

As we pride ourselves in providing garden rooms that are unique to you; we understand that this may take some time and as such we will liaise with you via telephone, email or in person to achieve the final design you are happy with.

Quote stage 

Once we have achieved the final design we will provide you with a quotation for you to consider.

 

Contract stage

If you accept our quote, we will then draw up the contract and request that you sign off the final design.  At this stage, we will request a 25% holding deposit which is fully refundable should you change your mind within the 14 day ‘cooling off’ period and no work has begun. 

Once we have received your signed contract and holding deposit we will then write to you to confirm the agreed works and provide you with a schedule for any further site surveys, start date and schedule of works and payment schedule.

Commencement of works

Prior to this date we will have provided you with information regarding who will be completing the installation of your garden room and any preparatory works.  Our team prides itself on the very high quality of workmanship but also their courtesy, punctuality, reliability and tidiness.   Your project manager will also maintain contact with you and ensure that the installation of your garden room runs as smoothly as possible.  

Completion of works and Aftercare

Upon completion of works your project manager will come to personally inspect the build and check that you are happy with your new garden room.  You will also be provided with a handover pack containing your Unique Garden Sanctuaries workmanship guarantee and any manufacturers’ warranties.  We will also provide you with information on care and maintenance so that you can enjoy your new contemporary garden room for many years to come.
